🗓️ What the Game Jam looks like

Three hours. Your child leaves with a real, published game. Here's how the day unfolds:

Choose a Cause
Each child picks a Fort Worth cause they care about: animals, the library, food access, the environment. It shapes everything they build.

Become a Game Director
Every child directs their own game: genre, hero, world, and a real game brief.
🎨
Concept Art & Creative Direction
They give visual and sound direction (world, characters, style) and the Game Jam Engine turns it into a playable game. No coding or drawing required.

Play, Test & Improve
Children play their game the moment it exists and give real QA feedback: what works, what's broken, what to change.

Ship It
Every game goes live at a real URL on givebounty.org. They leave as published developers, with a link to share.
🎮 What they take home: a published game, a real URL, a handmade cartridge keychain, and the confidence of having shipped something real.

$65 each for two or more children.
Your own kids: add them all on this form.
With friends? Each family fills out their own form, since you know your child's allergies and pickup list best, and names the other.

We confirm and hold your spot within 24 hours. Nothing to pay yet.

Your payment link arrives about two weeks out, once the roster and any group rate are settled.

Payment is due Saturday, September 19, 2026, one week before. That locks the seat in.
Plans change. Tell us before the deadline and there's nothing to pay; the seat goes to a waitlist family. If money's the obstacle, ask about a scholarship. That's what they're for.
No payment is collected on this form. We'll send a secure Stripe payment link once your spot is confirmed.
🚸 Authorized Pickup
My child may only be released to the people listed below. Please bring photo ID. We may check it, especially for anyone we don't recognize. At least one person is required.
If pickup plans change on the day of the workshop, email davis@givebounty.org in advance. We will not release a child to anyone not listed without direct confirmation from the parent or guardian.

Choose one. This applies to the current Game Jam and can be withdrawn anytime by emailing davis@givebounty.org. We never publish last names.
Full consent: photos and video of my child may be used in GiveBounty Games materials (website, social media, press).
Face hidden: use photos/video only where my child isn't identifiable: shot from behind, blurred, or cropped.
Opt out: please don't use any photos or video of my child.
